30 More Bangladeshis to Return from War-Torn Lebanon on Tuesday
In the fourth phase of evacuations, thirty more Bangladeshis are set to depart war-torn Lebanon for their home country on Sunday night. Their flight is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka late on Tuesday. This information was shared in a notice from the Bangladesh Embassy in Beirut on Saturday night.
The embassy stated that due to the ongoing conflict in Lebanon, Bangladeshi expatriates who have applied to return voluntarily and have their passports, residence permits, and essential travel documents ready, are being facilitated for repatriation by the embassy. In line with this effort, the fourth group of 30 individuals will embark on their journey from Beirut to Dhaka via Jeddah on Sunday.
The embassy has requested the individuals on the list to gather at the parking area in front of Yapa Restaurant, near Hotel Alexander, Adib Ishak Road, Ashrafieh, by 5 PM on Sunday.
So far, the government has repatriated 150 Bangladeshis from Lebanon. On October 21, the first group of 54 individuals returned, followed by 96 individuals on two flights on October 23. The flight carrying the fourth group is expected to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at around 2:30 AM on Tuesday.
